The theme for this year’s Winter Gala held at The Palace at Somerset Park on March 4th was “The Many Faces of Hugs for Brady”. When the night was over Hugs For Brady foundation had received record donations and honored some truly amazing families and individuals in the community for their tireless effort in the fight against Pediatric Cancer.
Wow! This year’s event raised $262,540.55
The gala, serves as our most significant fundraiser of the year and honors the individuals who have made notable contributions to help those affected by childhood cancer.
The Honorees
2017 Honorees included:
- The Domotor Family who received the Ellen Gambatese Pediatric Cancer Volunteer of the Year
- Steve Kalafer the Somerset Patriots Chairman who received the Hugs for Brady Foundation Pediatric Cancer Humanitarian of the Yea
- Dr. Richard Drachtman who received the Dr. Randy Siegel Pediatric Cancer Medical Humanitarian of the Year
Special thanks to The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and The Staff of the Inpatient Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit and Child Life Program at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
